(November 29, Balochistan, Sri Lanka Guardian) Following the release of a hit list including the names of four journalists, the Khuzdar Press Club announced on Saturday that the journalists of the Khuzdar district would suspend their professional duties by Sunday for an indefinite period of time.The Pakistan’s secret agency ‘’ISI’’ backed dummy organization , Baloch Musallah Defa Army (BMDA), issued a hit list of four journalists belonging to Khuzdar and said it would soon target these journalists. The journalists are Abdullah Kidrani, Abdullah Shawani, Munir Noor and Abdul Haq.

The spokesperson of BMDA, who introduced himself as Mir Jang Baloch, told reporters at the Naushki Press Club that his organisation would target those journalists who were working as informers of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), he Baloch Republican Army (BRA) and other separatist groups. The organisation threatened the Khuzdar Press Club president and said that he should not allow the press club to be used for ‘negative activities’.

A Khuzdar-based journalist said on the condition of anonymity that the government was solely responsible for all the killings. No news is worth dying for. “We have already lost four of our colleagues in Khuzdar alone during the past year-and-a-half.”

Another journalist, speaking on condition of anonymity, laid the blame squarely on the government and called the BMDA agents of the government and security agencies.

The decision to boycott professional activities came following a meeting of journalists where they decided that they will finalise their future course of action after consultation with journalist unions in Balochistan as well as all over Pakistan.

Pakistan has been declared one of the most dangerous countries in the world to work in as a journalist. The Committee to Protect Journalists has ranked Pakistan the tenth most dangerous place in the world for journalists to work.More than five Baloch journalists killed in year 2011 by Pakistani secret agencies.

Genocidal Policy: More abductions reported in Balochistan

(November 28, Balochistan, Sri Lanka Guardian) The Pakistani secret agencies and Frontier Corps (FC) abducted another Baloch namely Wazeer Reki from Mashkel town of District Kharan in Balochistan.According to the reports Pakistani secret agencies and Paramilitary force FC has abducted the Wazeer Reki on 25th November in early morning hours. Wazeer Reki was on his way back to Mashkel Town ,when unknown plain-clothed armed men along with Frontier Corps (FC) stoped him and after checking his Identity Card the forces whisked him away from the scene.According to the eye witnesses the abductors also beaten up the Wazir Reki on scene of abduction.

Wazeer Reki’s family while speaking to local journalists said that six days ago Pakistani secret agencies also abducted the Wazeer Reki’s nephew Abdul Hameed Reki.The family members further said that Wazeer Reki and Abdul Hameed Reki are not in politics ,neither affiliated to any political party.The family members are concerned about the whereabouts of Wazeer Reki and Abdul Hameed Reki.The family also urged the United Nation and other International human rights organizations to help recover their loved ones.

Seprately the family members of Haji Gul Khan Marri said in a statement that Pakistani forces has abducted the Gul Khan Marri during a search operation in Kohlu after Chamalang incident.They further said Gul Khan Marri is a tribal and social personality of Kohlu,and he is not affiliated to any political or armed group.Gul Khan Marri was once before abducted and disappeared for one year during Pervez Musharaf’s Military era.The family appealed to the judiciary and human rights group to play their role in safe recovery of Gul Khan Marri.

In so called search operation in Chamalang and Kohlu area ,morethan 30 Marri Baloch were abducted by military and their whereabouts are still unknown.The ISI sponsored organisation led by SirajRaisani Tehreek Nefaz-e-Aman in a statement in local newspapers claimed abducting 30 Baloch from Chamalang,but who were actually arrested by FC.

It should be noted that Pakistani forces have forcefully disappeared nearly 14,000 Baloch including 168 women and children since 2000.In last 14 months morethan 300 Baloch student,political activist,writers,journalists,lawyers and teachers killed in Pakistan military custody,and their bullet riddled bodies found from roadsides and mountains.

(November 22, Balochistan, Sri Lanka Guardian) At least 40 Pakistani paramilitary forces including several high ranking officers have been killed in clashes with Baloch freedom fighters in Chamalang battle, in South-Eastern Balochistan.

According to details clashes erupted in the Chamalang mountainous area Sunday evening after Baloch fighters attacked a camp of Frontier Corps (FC) troops, which continued until Monday morning.

A spokesperson of Baloch Liberation Army, Azaad Baloch, informed BBC Urdu that BLA fighters have killed at least 40 Pakistani soldiers and scores have been wounded in the battle. He also said that all the machinery, vehicles and other equipment at the Pakistani troops’ camp have been completely destroyed. The Baloch fighters also took with them the weapons of Pakistani soldiers.

One Baloch fighter has been injured the battle against occupying forces who later succumbed to his injuries.

Media sources said that at least 11 FC troops were injured. The bodies of killed soldiers and injured have been evacuated in helicopters. The injured were airlifted to a military hospital in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.

Meanwhile the Baloch National Voice has said that Pakistan military has launched an offensive and indiscriminate bombardment in the entire region where the battle took place. The BNV spokesperson said that dozens of innocent villagers have been arrested and taken to unknown locations by Pakistan security forces. The military operation is still continuing in several areas of Kohistan Marri.
